We want you to feel confident when shopping with VELA NOIRE. Please read this Return & Refund Policy carefully before initiating a return.
1. Returns Eligibility
You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition.

All original packaging, tags, accessories, and components must be included.

The product must not show signs of damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper handling.

Items requiring hygiene standards (if applicable) must be returned in clean condition.

Any defect must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photo evidence.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
2. Return Shipping Costs
All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
VELA NOIRE does not provide prepaid return labels.
Returns must be shipped to our central warehouse in Asia. The return address will be provided after your request has been reviewed and approved.
⚠️ Do not send returns to the sender address listed on the package. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To request a return, email:

Complete shipping address

Reason for return

Clear photos (in case of damage, defect, or incorrect item)
Once approved, we will provide return instructions and the correct return address.
4. Inspection & Refund Processing
Once the returned item is received and inspected:

Refunds are processed within 7 business days.

You will receive confirmation once approved.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Original shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to deduct return shipping costs or restocking fees if applicable.
5. Right of Cancellation (Cooling-Off Period)
If you are a consumer under applicable Canadian law, you may have certain statutory rights.
However:

Orders are processed automatically upon placement.

Once fulfillment has begun, orders cannot be cancelled.

Cancellation is only possible after receipt of goods through the return process.
Customers must return the goods before a refund can be issued.
6. Orders in Transit
Because we ship internationally, transit times may vary.
If your order has already shipped:

It cannot be cancelled.

You must wait until delivery and then request a return.
7. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments
If a shipment is:

Refused at delivery

Not collected from the carrier

Marked as abandoned
The parcel may be destroyed or returned by the carrier.
In such cases:

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Any carrier-imposed return fees may be deducted from your refund.

If the carrier destroys the parcel, no refund may be issued.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and coordinating with the local courier.
8. Non-Returnable Items
We reserve the right to refuse returns in cases including but not limited to:

Used or worn items

Items damaged after delivery

Returns sent without prior approval

Returns sent to an incorrect address
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting us and following the return procedure:

We reserve the right to submit delivery confirmation, tracking history, and communication records to the payment provider.

Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported.
We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly before opening disputes.
10. IMPORTANT NOTICE
ALL RETURNS MUST BE SENT TO OUR CENTRAL WAREHOUSE IN ASIA AT THE CUSTOMER’S EXPENSE.
Failure to follow the authorized return process may result in denial of refund.
